| Okay, so I've been thinking about this for a while now (mostly for a personal project I have going on) but realized it could be a good thing for the site. There's a website that can publish your novels for pretty much next to nothing, (for a standard 5x8 inches softcover it's $8.95). The idea is that your books aren't published or sent out until they're ordered by other people, which is done through the website, and thus, free. So... what am I getting at? Well, I thought it might be a unique idea for Zerapia to get some literary works published. It may not be *official*, but it's something I don't think has been done yet. Also, it's a good way to make some money to pay for servers, etc... as the site grows, it's going to need more and more money to support it. Having been around here for a short while, I've seen that there are quite a few writers, some who I'm sure would jump at the chance to have their stories published in an actual book... something they can physically turn the pages. Now obviously, writing an entire novel is a daunting task for anyone and can take a looooong time. So the idea I had is that the book is a compilation of stories, set in the Zerapia universe, written by several people, but all linked together. So, if there's four writers, they each write four seperate stories, but yet, they're connected. They could be different characters, different settings, or they could follow on from each other. (By the way, the website also has a feature where you design the front cover... so that's something the artists could do). Like I've said, it's something I think is unique, good for players of Zerapia, and also good for the site maintenance (which can obviously be a costly thing). If work on it began fairly soon, then I'm sure it could all be done before the site is launched, and thus, maybe coinciding with it? Not to mention that the book would be advertized on the publishing website too, which could pull people into playing the petsite. As a writer myself, I'm very keen on the idea. But anyway... just a suggestion. | |

Wow that took awhile to read I say it's a great idea. Me and Mads (Phoenix) and Cimmi have been been talking about publishing our RP games when the site opens, so that's the little additional idea I put here =D

| I like this idea. ^^ I think this is thinking just a tad too far ahead though. We have to make sure Zera will be a hit before we go and publish anything about it, yes? Not saying that we won't be a hit, of course. It's just we're progressing very slowly at the moment. | |

| Oh, sure, but there's definitely no harm in having it prepared, seeing as though it won't actually cost anything to publish. | |

| =3 I definitely agree with Mads. A great idea, but one for when we're wildly popular. ^^ | |
